  • Join the Med Platform: Web Platform financed by Euro-MED Programme and developed in the framework of Community4Tourism project 
  • Community member: project partners, stakeholders
  • Contact Form subscribers: any external person who send a request to Join the MED Platform.

Community4Tourism carefully collects and treats all data as confidential and use it only under the legal compliance with EU regulations.

All data collected and managed by the project are in strict compliance with the new Regulation (EU) 2016/679, General Data Protection Regulation.

UNIMED – Mediterranean Univerisities Union for the Community4Tourism project has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO).

WHO IS CONCERNED BY THIS NOTICE?

This notice is addressed to the following public:

  • All partners participating in the Interreg Euro-MED Sustainable Tourism Mission;
  • project website webmasters;
  • Join the MED Platform webmasters;
  • Community members;
  • Contact form subscribers.

WHO COLLECTS DATA: ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?

In Join the MED Platform, there is one type of data processor: UTH, as webmaster.

UTH is responsible for the data collected and stored, in order to perform its legal public contractual duties. This data is under the supervision of the lead partner of the partnership, the Barcelona Provincial Council (DIBA).

The truthfulness of data collected and stored in the Join the MED Platform is under the responsibility of the providers: project partners, stakeholders of the Community, Contact form subscribers.

FOR WHAT PURPOSES DOES THE INTERREG EURO-MED PROGRAMME STORE YOUR DATA?

The scope of the data collected is limited to what is strictly necessary for each purpose, avoiding as much as possible personal information. However, no personal information is collected without the knowledge of the target public.

No data will be shared with third parties outside the Interreg Euro-MED Programme, other than the external providers or used for unintended purposes without the express consent and prior notification to the interested individuals.  When personal data is collected, the purpose will be clearly expressed.

The data collected within the framework of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme will be retained by the project partners and the Programme until 31/12/2028 to comply with the regulatory obligations. Once the retention period has passed, the Interreg Euro-MED Programme, the project partners and the potential sub-contractors / external providers will take adequate measures to delete all personal data collected within the project.

EXTERNAL PROVIDERS 

Join the MED Platform may use external providers to process your personal data. You will be informed and your express consent required whenever this is the case.

Join the MED Platform makes sure to demand its external providers to provide it with adequate safeguards regarding personal data protection. 

External providers of Join the MED Platform will have a limited access to personal data strictly necessary for the completion of the services rendered. They will also be contractually bound to use the personal data in compliance with the current regulation regarding personal data.

WHAT ABOUT COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

Join the MED Platform collects and stores information using cookies and similar tracking technologies to track web behaviors. We use this information to provide analytics of only statistical nature.

The cookies the Platform uses are: XSRF-TOKEN,_ga GA1,_ga_H6QJ9MRCEX, _ga_YKW1M60XY3, jointhemed_session.
